Breathing And Mindfulness

We can use resources like the projectors to display mindfulness activities, this is sometimes breathing exercises and meditation techniques that can be explored to reduce stress and behaviours that challenge. In exploring these exercises in recent cases we have found that in times of crisis, such activities can reduce blood pressure and promote positive SATS.  Staff will support the client in this activity along with the projections shown to aid the peaceful setting.

These activities are great for clients who require minimal activity.

Activities Can Include:

  • Meditation 

  • Guided breathing 

  • Soothing and calming exercises
